DigitalBridge Workforce Initiative

FHF My DigitalBridge Workforce Development Link

Expanding Digital Access and Workforce Opportunity

DigitalBridge is a workforce development initiative of the Freemantown Historical Foundation designed to expand digital access, career readiness, and economic mobility in underserved communities. Through a combination of digital literacy training, professional development support, and career navigation resources, DigitalBridge helps individuals gain the skills and confidence needed to participate in today’s technology-driven workforce.

The initiative focuses on preparing participants for modern career opportunities by strengthening both technical and human-centered skills while connecting learners to mentors, professional networks, and workforce pathways that support long-term career growth.

Our Workforce Approach

Building Skills for the Modern Economy

DigitalBridge prepares participants for workforce success through three core areas of development:

Digital Foundations
Participants build essential digital skills including online productivity tools, research skills, and technology literacy needed in today’s workplace.

Human-Centered Skills
Participants strengthen communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and professional confidence — skills that remain critical in an increasingly automated world.

Career Navigation
DigitalBridge supports participants in building resumes, developing professional profiles, preparing for interviews, and connecting with career opportunities and mentors.

AI Workforce Bridge Initiative

Preparing the Next Generation for the AI Economy

Freemantown is expanding the DigitalBridge model through the Freemantown Workforce AI Bridge Initiative, a program designed to prepare young adults ages 18–24 to succeed in an AI-enabled economy.

Participants will gain exposure to artificial intelligence tools and learn how AI is transforming industries and workplace practices. The program introduces learners to responsible AI use, digital productivity tools, and emerging career pathways while strengthening critical human skills such as adaptability, communication, and critical thinking.

Through this initiative, DigitalBridge helps participants understand how to work alongside emerging technologies while building the professional skills necessary to thrive in evolving workplaces.

Removing Barriers to Opportunity

Supporting Participants Beyond Training

DigitalBridge recognizes that workforce success requires more than technical training. Many participants face barriers that limit access to opportunity, including limited access to technology, professional networks, or career guidance.

The program supports participants by providing access to digital tools, mentorship, career coaching, and professional development resources that help individuals navigate modern career systems and connect with meaningful employment pathways.
